“We would love our wedding stationary to incorporate our love of music and our colour scheme”
I was honoured when I was asked to design my best friend’s wedding stationary for her big day. Hannah and her now husband Jon are music teachers and wanted to incorporate their love of music, and subsequently how they met into their invitations.
Gosfield Hall in Essex was their chosen venue so I added an additional personal touch by creating a vector illustration of the beautiful stately home and including it as part of the accommodation insert.
Sheet music was incorporated into the inside of the envelopes, as a backing card to mount the main invitation onto and as a band to hold the pocket-fold style invitations together. Dusky pink and ivory pearlescent style card was used for the alternating inserts, all placed within a dove grey pocket-fold and then sealed inside an ivory pearlescent envelope.
A subtle dusky pink watercolour wash was applied to the table names, seating plan and order of the day to tie everything together.
